Farnley Tyas Bowling Club (FTBC) is a non-profitable organisation created and run by volunteers since 1912 for the community to enjoy.

Recently refurbished, the club house offers locals and visiting teams a fully licensed bar with various draught beers, lagers and ciders to choose from, along with a tasteful selection of wines and bar snacks, a lounge & dining area and large screen TV.

Several teams use FTBC including teams from other villages as the facilities are worth the trip. FTBC is located in the heart of Farnley Tyas village. The Club runs, ladies’, men’s and mixed teams, which compete throughout Huddersfield and the surrounding area.

The club also hosts local teams in Darts, Dominoes and Pool, with it's well equipped and maintained pool table, darts board and dominoes tables.

The club is also used for social events, such as Wedding Receptions, Birthdays, meetings etc... It is also home to the Farnley Tyas Community Group.
